Can I sub-lease?

If you're not familiar with Tokyo and want to get a feel for it before deciding on where to live for longer period， sub-leasing for a few months is probably a good idea. But， almost all lease agreements here have an article， which prohibit a sub-leasing. You should be very careful to take an offer of sub-leasing.
