How can I terminate my lease?

Generally, all of the lease agreement in Japan has a termination clause. The lause clearly specifies that you can terminate the lease even during the term by 1 - 2 months’ advance notice to the lessor or the management. Instead, you may terminate the lease immediately by paying 1 2 months’ rent. If you fail to give a right notice within a right period (short notice), you are obliged to pay an extra rent, which will be calculated by per-diem basis.
