Question Does the Lessor have to refund my deposit?

Answer Once you have delivered back the property in a satisfactory condition, the Lessor (or the Management) has to return your deposit by the time specified in the Agreement. Sometimes the lessor or the management may not refund you the deposit.
The reasons are:- You have not cleaned the property or repaired any damage and they are waiting for estimates for the repair work to be done. Upon they received the estimate, it will be shown to you, and, when you have agreed upon the amount you will bear, the remaining balance of the Deposit will be returned to you.
- You have left unpaid bills, which may cause problems for them and for the next Tenants.
